City Shield Security

Founded in 2015, City Shield Security Services, LCC is a subsidiary of the Amerishield Protection Group (APG). We are a Detroit-based contract security provider, a women-owned small business, and located in a designated Hub-Zone. We are also a State of Michigan designated Veteran Friendly Employer.

City Shield was founded by President Catheryn Heinrich and Managing Partner Al Shenouda with the goal of elevating and professionalizing contract security services in Detroit by focusing on the education, training, and workforce development of our security officers. By building on public private partnerships and nurturing communities of trust, City Shield can offer the most effective, innovative security solutions for our clients.

City Shield specializes in special event and venue security, critical infrastructure protection, district services, soft target protection, and special operations services for executive protection and anti-terrorism response. We also offer corporate services including workplace violence and crisis management, and our armed and unarmed agents are uniquely and specifically trained for industrial, commercial, corporate, and government sectors use.

In the past four years, City Shield has provided more than $15 million in contract security services to Olympia Entertainment Industries, Olympia Development of Michigan, Rock Ventures, DTE Energy, and several national clients. Our construction and parking security services have earned an impressive record as the only security vendor in the Detroit area that has not had a property loss, break-in, or any significant criminal activity.
